Dr Nick Smith the Minister of Housing today visited the comprehensive social housing development located at Lesley Keast Place, Hornby, Christchurch, to congratulate and meet with the project partners: Housing NZ Foundation, Abbeyfield, Housing Plus, Methodist Mission, Salvation Army and the contractor Mike Greer Homes.
The group were celebrating the completion of the Salvation Army's supportive housing part of the complex. The Salvation Army and Abbeyfield have now completed and tenanted their properties and the focus is turning towards the other partners' development plans.
