Information for visitors to Abbeyfield houses
Our Abbeyfield houses welcome visitors, but we ask that you respect the houses and residents, and follow any health and safety rules that may be in place.
Visitor protocols
We ask that all visitors to our houses, including family and friends, health workers and contractors:
- Sign the house’s visitor book.
- Do not visit if they have an infectious illness such as the flu or Covid-19.
- Be considerate and act respectfully towards residents – this is their home.
- Wear a face mask if asked to (for example, health workers may be required to wear face masks).
Health measures at our houses
- Hygiene measures: We encourage good hygiene practices such as regularly washing hands and regularly cleaning surfaces.
- Ventilation: Communal living areas in our houses such as the lounge and dining room are ventilated as much as possible, taking into account weather conditions and residents’ comfort.
