New Zealand is ageing. More people are living longer, while the supply of affordable, suitable housing for older people is not keeping pace with the need.
At some point, many of us will face the question: Where will I live as I grow older?
And many of us will ask the same question for our parents, our partners, our brothers and sisters, or the people we care about.
Abbeyfield offers affordable, community-based homes where people over 65 can live independently, stay connected and enjoy companionship. But we rely on the generosity of our supporters to establish new Abbeyfield houses and sustain our work.
Abbeyfield New Zealand is a registered charity (CC23346). Donations over $5 are tax deductible and we issue receipts for tax rebates.
Please fill out this form so we can identify your donation and send you a receipt.
Donate via our Givealittle page.
Make a donation in memory to commemorate the life of a loved one. We can earmark your donation to a specific Abbeyfield house, so let us know if you’d like to do this. Contact our national office to discuss your wishes: ph 03 546 6459 or email us.
Leaving a gift in your will (a bequest) is a valuable way of helping us grow and develop. We have achieved a lot through such gifts, and we welcome gifts of any size. Bequests can be made to Abbeyfield New Zealand or a local Abbeyfield Society.
