About this house

Abbeyfield Western Bay of Plenty Incorporated is working with Abbeyfield New Zealand to establish an Abbeyfield house in Katikati for 14 residents. A site has been purchased and fundraising for the house is under way. The committee has a passionate belief that older people, particularly those who are on limited incomes and may be lonely, should have access to affordable, safe, purpose-built accommodation.

Where are we at now?

We have purchased land in Katikati and are fundraising to build an Abbeyfield house. You can support us by shopping at our market stall at the Katikati Produce Market, held at the A & P Showgrounds in Katikati every Friday from 3.30-6pm, or by making a donation. Our bank account details are: account name  Abbeyfield Western Bay of Plenty Incorporated; account number 38-9019-0720156-00.

Leaving a bequest in your will supports Abbeyfield Western Bay of Plenty to provide important work for an Abbeyfield House in Katikati to come to fruition and to continue well into the future. If you are interested and want to know more about leaving a bequest in your will, please read this document Abbeyfield legacy charter & bequest
